Use
each colour in turn to get to know the colour and to practice painting the distant
trees. | |||||
GETTING
READY | |||||
| 1. Use a small brush - like a No. 4 round | |||||
2. Always mix your chosen colour into a puddle to ensure that the paint is at the right consistency - not too sticky and for this practice piece - not too watery. If the colour is too strong the blobs for the trees will not join up.
| |||||
One
of Bee's Techniques for Trees - Line and Blob | |
| 1. Draw a fine line with the tip of the brush and sit your trees on this fine line. You will know that the consistency is correct when the line and tree colour merge as you paint. | |
| 2. Every time you practice your colour blobs - write the name of the colour by the side - this will help your colour knowledge. | |
