| ABOUT BEE MORRISON |
| |
| |
|
Bee’s career in art really began as she graduated with an honours degree in art and design on 4th July 1980. This gave her independence from dead end office work and although she did not know it then it gave her ‘a new world’ in many ways.
She continued to develop her art knowledge towards watercolour and sketching techniques and it is these skills that have matured and now allow her to teach all over the UK and on her successful European art holidays.
Since 2004 her unique collection of her own art techniques has been directed towards her own book production.
Another, bigger ‘new world’ opened up in 2002 as soon as she began working on cruise ships which have taken her all around the world many times.
Add to this her portrait of the Queen being accepted into the Royal Art Collection, three television appearances, design work for a cross stitch company, three art residencies (two in Bridlington for MIND and one in Burton Agnes Hall, Driffield, East Yorkshire), and the experience in 2007 of being an art judge for Warrington Art Club and you have a pretty good summary of Bee’s amazing career.
